The KOHLA 2-piece tail-hook set lets you repair a compatible tail attachment on your climbing skins. It contains two stainless-steel tail hooks and matching rivet sets with upper and lower parts. KOHLA supplies the hooks in pairs and specifies 100% metal for the set. These are replacement components for the attachment at the tail of a skin.

Compare your existing tail attachment

Before choosing the set, check the shape of your current hooks, their rivet mounting and the existing tensioning system. These parts need to match your skin configuration and ski tail. Comparison with the attachment on your existing skins helps you select the correct parts. If you want to renew the attachment on an older skin, a specialist shop can help you select appropriate replacement parts.

Installation and checks before touring

Follow the installation guidance for your skins and use suitable tools for the replacement, or have a specialist shop carry out the work. Afterwards, check that the hooks and rivet connections are firmly secured. Inspect the tail attachment for damage before your next tours as well. Replacing individual attachment components can be useful when the skin itself remains serviceable and its existing system is compatible with this set.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns

Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
