The problem with classic down: moisture and overheating
Down is the lightest and best insulating natural material, and it is also extremely compressible.
But classic down has weaknesses: it loses its insulating effect in high humidity and can lead to overheating.
Especially when you are out and about in changeable climates, that is a real risk to comfort and recovery.
This is exactly where DownWool® comes in, the intelligent further development of down.
The multiple award-winning DownWool® sleeping bags are uniquely thought through and offer solutions to exactly these weak points.
DownWool® is the perfect combination of down and wool.
The mix offers outstanding insulation and a particularly wide temperature comfort range, even in high humidity.
This is made possible by the mechanical blend of 70% RDS-certified down and 30% Alpine wool, a patent-pending, permanently durable and washable combination.

Adjustable hood
The hood adapts well to the shape of your head.

Pillow pocket
If you slide a fleece jacket, for example, into the pillow pocket, the sleeping bag has a pillow that stays put.

Inner pocket: for valuables and things you prefer to keep close.

Zip
Two-way YKK zip: can be operated from both ends.
Zip with robust webbing underneath: this makes the zip even easier to operate without catching the outer fabric.
Auto-Lock prevents it from opening unintentionally.
Black zip: cool look and better camouflage in the dark.

Uncoated, ultralight, robust, wind-resistant and recycled 20 denier 380T nylon, pleasant on the skin.

Impregnation
Durably water-repellent, silicone-free and based on bio-based raw materials (BeSoDRY by CHT) for optimal weather protection and maximum environmental compatibility.

Filling
195 g DownWool® made of 70% high-quality duck down (90/10 with fill power 700+ cuin) and 30% mechanically refined wool

Material labelling
Shell 100% polyamide, filling 70% down/30% wool - contains non-textile parts of animal origin.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg.
