Head Downforce Fitting Kit - 2020/21

The HEAD Downforce Fitting Kit adjusts padding in a compatible Downforce helmet. Pre-shaped pads in different thicknesses allow the fit to be fine-tuned within the intended helmet size. This listing offers the M/L version for the stated 56–59 cm size range. The kit is an accessory for a compatible helmet, not a helmet itself. It does not replace shell inspection or the replacement of a helmet that must be retired after an impact.

Selection and use

Check the exact Downforce model compatibility and your helmet size before purchase. Follow HEAD’s instructions when fitting the pads and do not alter structural components. Then check fit with the chin strap fastened and while moving your head. A specialist shop can assess the fit if pressure points or looseness remain.

Care and inspection

Follow the cleaning instructions for the helmet and pads. Inspect attachment, wear and shape before use. Dry cleaned padding without strong direct heat. Keep kit components organised and stop using damaged pads or pieces that can no longer be attached securely.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
