Contec Rückspiegel E-View Evo S 2023

The CONTEC E-View Evo S is a bicycle rear-view mirror with a short 85 mm arm. It mounts inside the handlebar end using an expanding clamp and can be fitted on the left or right, depending on the cockpit layout. The adjustable mirror allows you to set the viewing angle for your riding position. Distinguish this short S version from E-View Evo mirrors with longer arms when ordering.

Selection and use

Check the handlebar’s internal diameter, available insertion depth and manufacturer approval before fitting. Closed bar ends or other components may prevent installation. Adjust the mirror in your normal riding position and check whether your arm obstructs the view. The mirror helps you observe behind the bicycle, while looking over your shoulder and remaining attentive to traffic are still necessary.

Care and inspection

Clean the glass with a soft cloth and a suitable cleaner. After transport or a fall, check the attachment and viewing angle. Inspect the clamp and joints regularly, replacing damaged glass or a mount that no longer holds securely.
