The CONTEC Neo.Protect contact cover protects the electrical contacts on the bicycle frame when the frame battery has been removed. This neoprene cover is intended for transport and parking and helps shield the exposed connection area from road spray and dirt. An all-round hook-and-loop fastening supports straightforward fitting.

Selection and fitting

Before fitting, check the position and dimensions of your bicycle’s battery mount. Position the cover so it shields the contacts and its fastening holds securely. It must not obstruct moving parts. Follow your bicycle’s instructions when removing and replacing the battery and keep the connection area clean.

Care and checks

Remove the cover before refitting the battery. Gently remove dirt and let the cover dry completely after exposure to moisture. Regularly inspect the material and fastening for wear. Before riding or transporting the bicycle, check again that the cover is secure and actually shields the intended area.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
