Snowline Chainsen Pro XT

The Snowline Chainsen Pro XT are pull-on footwear spikes for snowy or icy paths. Compared with the Pro model, they have additional spikes at the toe. An elastic rubber harness holds the chains and stainless-steel spikes beneath the shoe without separate straps to adjust. This version is particularly suited to firmer hiking, mountain or winter boots and comes with a storage bag.

Choose the size with the volume of your footwear in mind. For lighter footwear, the manufacturer’s guide is M 36–40, L 40–44 and XL 44–48. For more heavily insulated boots, the corresponding guide is M 35–39, L 39–43 and XL 43–47. Check the actual fit on the intended footwear before setting off. The chains and spikes should sit correctly beneath the sole without the rubber slipping or being excessively stretched.

Important: Chainsen footwear spikes are not a substitute for mountaineering crampons. They do not guarantee secure footing on steep ground or replace appropriate route planning. Before each use, inspect the rubber, chains and spikes for damage. Remove snow and dirt afterwards, let the spikes dry, then put them in the bag to keep the points away from other equipment.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account.
