The compact avalanche transceiver impresses in avalanche terrain with its intuitive operation, a range of 70 m, and features that support you with maximum efficiency during the search. To increase your own safety on tour, the Barryvox 2 continuously checks its correct functioning with a self-test. For added safety during rescue, the beacon is equipped with a rescue-SEND function and automatic send-mode switching. During the search for buried victims, it guides you with clear instructions via acoustic search guidance, voice guidance, and display prompts to the goal. Via the Mammut app, you can perform updates, configurations, and avalanche training and are thus prepared to make smart decisions even faster in an emergency.

• Rescue SEND is a safety feature for non-searching rescuers in case of secondary avalanche burial by automatically switching to SEND so the rescuer can be located again.
• Automatic send-mode switching: safety feature for rescuers searching with a beacon in case of secondary avalanche burial. If the rescuer doesn't move for four minutes, the beacon automatically switches from SEARCH to SEND thanks to a motion sensor.
• Automatic self-test: Your Barryvox® checks your send and search signal when turned on and regularly performs send and battery tests.
• Interference guard: Your Barryvox® manages and reduces signal interference and displays interference disruption in send and search mode.
• Group check: Quickly and easily check the send frequency and strength of other beacons with this function to ensure correct functionality.
• Voice guidance: Your Barryvox® supports you through supplementary instructions in all search phases. This feature is temporarily unavailable in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the USA.
• Acoustic user guidance: A sequence of tones guides you in the direction of the buried person and ensures you keep your gaze on the avalanche field during the search.
• Intuitive visual interface: Intuitively guides you through all search phases and provides an overview for multiple burials.
• Auto-select: In case of multiple burials, your Barryvox® guides you first to the strongest signal.
• Mark function for multiple burials.
• Reversal function prevents 180-degree search errors.
