Ortovox Avabag Litric Freeride 28

The future of freeriding: The AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 28 is an avalanche airbag backpack specifically designed for off-piste skiing. From powder days near the piste to multi-day freeride trips: you can attach different sized AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE and TOUR zip attachments to just one BASE, each tailored to your needs. The zip is designed so the different pack sacks and base combine seamlessly into one unit. The BASE consisting of back panel and airbag system of the AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 28 sits compactly on your back thanks to the CLASP BACK SYSTEM – with soft back pads, wide flexible hip belt, and soft shoulder straps – while allowing complete freedom of movement. It's compatible with the separately available CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR. Furthermore, all pack sack features are precisely tailored to freeriding: features like ski, snowboard, and ice axe attachment are just as present as a helmet holder and quick main compartment access that leave nothing to be desired. Emergency equipment can be stored in a separate safety compartment. LiTRIC, the electronic airbag system, combines lightness with ease of use and reliability. The electrical system charges via USB-C in about 25 minutes and allows numerous test deployments without extra costs. No cartridges means: more space, no weighing, no cartridge disposal, no travel restrictions. The construction is thought through to the smallest detail – instead of cartridges, supercapacitors are used and the airbag is super light, making it one of the lightest systems on the market. Plus, the system is especially easy to use. From charging and LED charge indicator through trigger handle to leg loop and airbag packing – LiTRIC AVABAGs are absolutely intuitive to use. One charge allows at least two deployments. Operating time in ON mode is approximately 60 hours and allows multi-day tours without recharging. Operating temperature ranges from -30° to +45° C. All AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE products are climate-neutral and PFC-free.
