Deuter Alproof 30 SL deepsea-black

The deuter Alproof 30 SL in deepsea-black is an avalanche airbag backpack for freeride and ski touring equipment. Its electronic Alpride E2 system uses supercapacitors. The SL version is shaped for shorter backs, with an Alpine back system that carries the load close to the body. A fully opening main compartment improves access to equipment, while the reinforced safety compartment helps organise avalanche tools.

Selection and use

Try the SL fit with your touring layers and a sensibly packed load. Read the complete operating manual before first use and practise handling and deployment according to its instructions. Before every outing, check the system status, straps and fastenings, and keep the airbag opening clear. An airbag does not replace a transceiver, shovel and probe, avalanche knowledge or careful route decisions. Avalanches remain life-threatening even with an airbag.

Care and checks

Follow the supplied Alproof instructions for inspection, cleaning and storage. Do not immerse the airbag system in water. Before thoroughly cleaning the backpack, remove the system as instructed. Store the pack dry and away from direct heat. Observe its manufacturing date, service life and inspection intervals; after use in an avalanche, arrange a thorough inspection through a dealer or the manufacturer.

In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
