BBB Cycling BPD-36 Pedale CoolRide MTB schwarz

The BBB Cycling CoolRide BPD-36 are black mountain-bike platform pedals with a one-piece aluminium body. A large platform and pins provide contact for ordinary cycling shoes, while a CrMo spindle and double-sealed bearings complete the design. This is a flat pedal, so there is no clip-in mechanism. It suits riders who want to choose their foot position freely on an open platform.

Selection and use

Check the crank thread and available space before ordering. Follow the right and left markings and the manufacturer’s fitting and tightening instructions. After installation, try the pedals with the shoes you use for cycling to assess the contact between sole and platform. Flat pedals do not require a cleat, but the actual grip still depends on your shoe tread, wet conditions and riding technique.

Care and inspection

Remove dirt from the platform and spindle area. Before a ride, check that the pedal is secure, rotates freely and has no damage or unusual play. Follow the manufacturer’s service instructions for bearing or spindle work. Have unusual noises or damaged parts checked before your next ride.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
