FOX DHX2 Factory 2pos 2021 Rear Shock, 200 × 51mm

The model-year 2021 FOX DHX2 Factory 2pos is a coil-sprung rear shock for compatible bicycle frames. Part number 978-01-015 identifies the 200mm eye-to-eye version with 51mm shock travel. It uses conventional eyelet mounting and a two-position lever. The Factory damper provides separate compression and rebound adjustments so a specialist can set it up for the bicycle, the chosen spring and the rider.

Selection and use

The frame must be approved for this exact eye-to-eye length and travel. Clearance, mounting hardware and a suitable coil spring rate also need checking. Shock travel is different from rear-wheel travel. Confirm the spring specification, mounting parts and actual package contents with us before ordering; the illustrated spring does not establish a particular spring rate or a complete installation kit.

Care and inspection

Arrange professional fitting and initial setup. Check for damage, oil leaks and loose mounting hardware. Follow the FOX manual’s adjustment limits and service schedule. Internal damper servicing requires appropriate specialist tools and knowledge, and should be carried out by a qualified service centre.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
