Meindl Sölden, brown

The Meindl Sölden in brown is a winter boot from the Canadian Boots range. It combines a mountain-cowhide leather upper with a galosh-style lower section and a profiled sole. The high-cut design suits cold everyday outings and winter walks when you want a boot with a warm lining. Lacing lets you adjust the fit around the foot and shaft.

Inside is a removable liner made with faux fur and thermal material. The footbed also uses faux fur and thermal material. Removing the liner after wear allows you to air it separately from the outer boot. Meindl lists a shaft height of 24 cm. Allow enough room for the winter socks you intend to wear when choosing your size.

Try both boots on with those socks. Your heel should feel secure as you walk, with enough space for your toes to move. Check the fit again with the laces fully fastened. Perceived warmth depends on your activity, socks and individual sensitivity to cold.

Remove dirt after wear and allow the liner and outer boot to dry thoroughly. Follow Meindl's instructions when cleaning and caring for the leather. Contains non-textile parts of animal origin.
