Meindl Sella GTX, black

The black Meindl Sella GTX is a winter boot from the Comfort fit range. Its shape offers additional room around the toes and forefoot while holding the heel more closely. It is aimed at people looking for a roomier forefoot area on everyday winter walks, with an individual fitting remaining essential.

The upper combines suede with mesh. Inside, GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort Footwear with faux-fur lining combines waterproof weather protection with insulation. The footbed is made from new wool and cork. A profiled Ultra Grip outsole completes the construction. Meindl specifies a shaft height of 18 centimetres. Traditional lacing can be adjusted across the foot and the higher shaft.

Try the boots with the winter socks you intend to wear. Check heel hold and toe room, and avoid overtightening the laces in a way that creates pressure points. Match your route and pace to the terrain and weather; tread alone cannot provide reliable grip on smooth ice. After use, remove slush and dirt and let the boots dry away from direct radiator heat. Follow Meindl's guidance using care products suitable for the leather, textile and membrane. This model contains non-textile parts of animal origin.
