Vibram Arctic Grip Trac
The RENEGADE EVO ICE GTX model is equipped with a Vibram Arctic Grip sole.
This is a state-of-the-art sole technology.
The sole is a special rubber compound designed for high performance and quality.
The sole's concept aims for good grip on snowy surfaces.
The large tread lugs, their arrangement and the Vibram rubber compound are decisive in making the VIBRAM ARCTIC GRIP TRAC® so well suited for wintry conditions.

Gore-Tex
Guaranteed weather protection, even in heavy rain and snow: The RENEGADE EVO ICE GTX is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane.
The innovative technology ensures optimal waterproofing and breathability.

Lowa DynaPU
The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe.
With the RENEGADE EVO ICE GTX, this consists of a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU®.
The special feature: even if it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its resilience.
So shoes made from it still have very good cushioning properties even after many kilometers.

Support frame
With the RENEGADE EVO ICE GTX model, the midsole in the form of the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame provides the best comfort.
This is a three-dimensional midsole design that LOWA developed in 1995.
This frame wraps your foot comfortably and supports it on uneven ground.
With shoes featuring a SUPPORT FRAME, the sole construction is slightly raised.

Double injection
For effective cushioning and high wearing comfort, the sole of the RENEGADE EVO ICE GTX is bonded to the shaft using a technically complex spray process.
For this, the upper goes into a specially made mold.
PU foam is then injected into this in different layers.
This creates the sole that directly bonds with the shaft to form a single unit.

Two Zone Lacing
With two-zone lacing, the forefoot and shaft of the RENEGADE EVO ICE GTX have separately adjustable lacing zones.
This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for uphill and downhill hiking.
