The women's Salomon OUTCHILL THINSULATE CLIMASALOMON WATERPROOF is a winter hiking boot in Carbon/Carbon/Bering Sea. It combines a mid-height upper with an insulated construction for walks and hikes in cold weather. The sizes offered in this shop are UK sizes, so bear that in mind when comparing them with shoes you already own.

Features include 3M Thinsulate insulation, soft fleece lining and a ClimaSalomon Waterproof membrane. The upper combines leather with PU-coated leather, complemented by reinforced toe and heel areas. Conventional laces let you adjust the hold around your foot without relying on a quick-lacing system.

The Winter Contagrip rubber outsole has a tread designed for winter conditions. Salomon specifies an 8 mm drop for this model. Try both boots with the socks you intend to wear on winter hikes. Check that the heel feels secure and that your toes retain sufficient space when walking downhill.

Adapt your pace and route to snow, wet ground and possible icy patches; tread alone cannot guarantee grip on every surface. As general care guidance, remove dirt gently and let the boots dry at room temperature. Follow Salomon's care instructions and choose products suitable for both leather and a waterproof membrane.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
