• The membrane is reliably waterproof. Whatever adventure you are planning, you can count on GORE-TEX technology to keep your feet comfortably dry.
• Designed for optimised breathability, GORE-TEX shoes provide pleasant comfort even during intense activities. Water cannot get in, while water vapour can escape from the inside through the billions of pores of the GORE-TEX membrane.
• The GORE-TEX membrane reliably keeps wind and weather out. This makes tours possible in any weather.
• This process uses the plastic polyurethane, a very lightweight foam.
• The plastic polyurethane is a foam with very good cushioning properties. Even when the millions of tiny bubbles are compressed repeatedly, they keep their shape and spring back to their original state. This creates a good rebound effect.
• Direct injection means the sole can be designed in completely different variants. The versatile properties of the materials used thus allow the shoes to be used in a wide range of ways.

Fleece, or nonwoven fabric, is a structure made of fibres of limited length, continuous filaments or cut yarns. As a component/top layer of footbeds, the fleece layer stores the heat given off by the foot and ensures a pleasant feel even at cold temperatures.

Aluminium foil is the term for a thin foil made by rolling aluminium as the starting material. The airtight aluminium foil is mostly used in insoles as an insulating layer that works against the cold from below and keeps the warmth in the shoe.
