Hanwag- Banks Winter GTX - black/asphalt - Men

The Hanwag Banks Winter GTX in Black/Asphalt is a men's hiking boot for the colder months. This winter version of the Banks combines a higher upper with warm GORE-TEX Partelana lining. The cuff provides additional coverage against snow and cold air, while the membrane keeps external moisture out. Lacing extends up the boot so the fit can be adjusted around the foot and lower leg.

The upper combines nubuck leather with synthetic material. Inside, an insulating footbed with an aluminium layer complements the winter construction. The Vibram Endurance Winter outsole is designed for use at low temperatures. The boot can be resoled professionally when its original tread needs replacing.

Try the boots with the socks you intend to wear on winter walks. Check heel hold and toe room when stepping downhill as well as on level ground. Remove dirt after each outing and allow the boots to dry before storage. Follow Hanwag's recommendations for leather care and waterproofing treatment.
