TSL Hiking Gaiters - 2020/21

The TSL Hiking is a full-height gaiter for day walks and other trips with compatible walking boots. This black version belongs to article family PFGU04. It covers the transition between footwear and trouser leg, helping keep snow and debris away from the boot opening. A PU coating adds protection against moisture at the fabric surface.

A rear zip opens the gaiter for fitting. An elastic lower section, front hook and adjustable underfoot strap hold it around the boot. The wide Top Scratch Locker hook-and-loop fastening adjusts the upper opening around the leg, with another elastic section around the middle. Check the adjustment with the boots and trousers you actually intend to wear.

According to the manufacturer, size M covers EU 35–43, is 38 cm high and weighs 100 g per gaiter. Size L covers EU 38–49, is 40 cm high and weighs 110 g per gaiter. Because the footwear-size ranges overlap, boot volume and calf fit matter too. Check the hook and strap before setting off. After a trip, remove dirt from the zip and hook-and-loop areas, then leave the gaiters open to dry.

In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
