For decades, the RENEGADE stood for exactly one attribute: the perfect fit.
To develop this aspect further, the new RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws has been given a number of specific details.
For example, additional comfort was built into the upper by making the inside of the forefoot area completely from one piece.
By dispensing with unnecessary seams, the nubuck leather used here can adapt flexibly to the individual shape of the foot bones, preventing friction and relieving the big toe joint. The two-zone lacing also contributes to this, and thanks to newly designed clamping hooks it is now even easier to adjust to individual requirements.
The waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane offers additional comfort.
In addition, the new RENEGADE features a newly designed sole package.
The directly injected midsole consists of two cushioning parts.
The first part is made of LOWA® DYNAPU®, the second part is a firmer part that, together with the CROSS OVER FRAME, ensures optimal guidance.
The new VIBRAM RENE TRAC® provides plenty of grip.

They are designed for a wide range of outdoor activities and are therefore universally usable on different terrain.

Women's last
To ensure an optimal fit, the last of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
The last is largely responsible for how well a shoe fits. Since women's feet have a smaller volume, the instep height and ball girth, for example, are adjusted.

Vibram Rene Trac
The RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws features a Vibram sole.
The Italian sole manufacturer has been one of the leading brands for high-quality soles for many years.
The self-cleaning VIBRAM RENE TRAC® with multidirectional lug orientation provides optimal grip on the most varied terrains.
Combined with a pronounced heel edge, the sole enables a pleasant roll-through for comfortable ascents and descents.

Gore Tex membrane
Guaranteed weather protection, even in heavy rain and snow: the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane.
The innovative technology ensures optimal waterproofness and breathability.

Double Injection
For effective cushioning and high wearing comfort, the sole of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws is bonded to the upper using a technically sophisticated injection process.
For this, the upper is placed in a specially made mould.
PU foam is then injected into it in different layers.
This creates the sole, which bonds directly with the upper to form a single unit.

Support Frame
On the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws, the midsole in the form of the LOWA MONOWRAP® frame ensures the best comfort.
This is a three-dimensional midsole design that LOWA developed in 1995.
This frame encloses the foot comfortably and thus supports it on uneven ground.
On shoes with a SUPPORT FRAME, the sole construction is slightly raised.

Two Zone Lacing
Thanks to the two-zone lacing, the forefoot and upper of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws have separately adjustable lacing zones.
This allows the shoe to be adapted individually to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for ascending and descending.

Lowa DynaPU
The midsole is largely responsible for the roll-through behaviour and cushioning of a shoe.
On the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws it is made from a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU®.
The special feature: even when it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its resilience.
This means shoes made from it still have very good cushioning properties even after many miles.
