Scarpa Mojito Hike CL - Caribou/Natural

The Scarpa Mojito Hike CL in Caribou/Natural is a mid-cut hiking boot for moderate walks, travel and longer everyday journeys. CL stands for Comfort Lining. This version has a leather lining and should be distinguished from Mojito models using a GORE-TEX membrane. Lacing that extends towards the toes allows adjustment along the foot rather than tightening only the upper cuff.

The upper is water-repellent suede leather. A rubber toe cap protects the front of the boot from contact with stones and edges. Inside, Scarpa combines 37.5 fabric with a leather lining. SALIX sole construction brings together a cushioning EVA midsole and a Vibram XS Trek outsole. A padded collar adds comfort around the ankle. Brown Caribou colouring and the light interior identify this version.

Try the boots with your usual hiking socks. Check heel hold and toe room, especially during a downhill movement, and adjust sections of the lacing where necessary. A water-repellent leather surface is not a promise of dry feet when walking through water. Brush off loose dirt after use and dry the boots at room temperature. Use care products appropriate for the suede finish. Direct heater heat can put unnecessary stress on leather and other footwear materials, so allow sufficient time for gentle drying between outings.
