Scarpa Mescalito Mid GTX taupe forest

The SCARPA Mescalito Mid GTX in Taupe Forest is a mid-height approach and walking boot for routes that combine hiking with easy scrambling. Lacing extending towards the toes allows a close adjustment around the forefoot. The mid-cut upper also covers the ankle area.

Water-resistant suede forms the upper, with stretch textile at the tongue and collar. A lateral PU rand and a rubber toe cap cover areas exposed to contact with rocks. Inside, a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane provides waterproof protection for changing conditions on wet paths.

The Dynamis LB sole combines Vibram Litebase construction with Megagrip rubber. An EVA midsole and a TPU insert complete the sole structure. The stated weight is 515 g per boot in size 42. When choosing your size, consider heel hold and sufficient toe space for descending as well as the weight of the footwear.

Try the boots with the hiking socks you intend to wear and adjust the lacing evenly. Before heading out, check the tread, laces and upper for wear. Gently remove dirt after use and allow the boots to air out. For further care, choose products suitable for suede footwear with a waterproof membrane.
