Meindl Lite Hike GTX Men's blue orange
Description
The Meindl Lite Hike GTX in Blue/Orange is a men's category A walking boot. It is intended for easy hikes, leisure activities and everyday paths. The ankle-height design combines a suede and mesh upper with a GORE-TEX lining.
An AIR-ACTIVE footbed sits inside the boot. The Meindl Multigrip G4 outsole combines its tread with a full-length EVA cushioning wedge and TPU support around the heel. In the manufacturer's catalogue, the Blue/Orange version is identified as 4692-09. The stated weight is approximately 580 g per boot in reference size UK 8.
Try the boots with the socks you intend to wear on your walks. Check for room in front of your toes and a suitable fit around the heel. Taking a few steps on an incline also helps you assess the lacing and fit when walking uphill and downhill.
After a walk, remove dirt using a brush and lukewarm water. Take out the footbed to air it and let the boots dry away from direct heat or strong sunlight. Do not machine wash them. Maintain the leather and water-repellent treatment according to Meindl's care guidance.
