McKinley Men's Vulcanus Mid AQX Anthracite/Petrol Blue Hiking Boots

The McKINLEY Vulcanus Mid AQX is a men’s hiking boot in Anthracite/Blue Petrol. Its mid-height shaft works with the lacing to adjust the fit around the foot and ankle area. The upper combines leather, mesh and synthetic components. An AQUAMAX membrane is designed to be waterproof and breathable. It suits hiking and active leisure when you prefer an enclosed shoe with a higher shaft.

A profiled Vibram outsole provides contact with the ground, while an Ortholite insole completes the interior equipment. Mesh forms part of the upper and works with the membrane construction to support moisture management. Try your chosen size with your usual hiking socks and check the fit at the heel, instep and toes. Your toes should not press into the front when walking downhill, and the laces should hold the foot without creating pressure points.

After a walk, gently remove dirt with a soft brush and let damp boots dry at room temperature, away from direct heaters. Follow the product’s leather and membrane care instructions and choose suitable care products. Regularly inspect the tread, laces and seams. The best way to assess the fit of this particular model is to try it on.
