McKinley Magma IV Mid AQX Men's Black Night

The McKINLEY Magma IV Mid AQX for men in Black Night is a mid-cut walking boot for hikes and trekking outings. The dark colourway with contrasting details combines a padded collar with conventional lacing. This lets you adjust the fit over the foot and around the ankle before heading onto the trail.

The upper combines 60% leather, 30% polyurethane and 10% polyamide. An AQUAMAX membrane is designed to provide weather protection and breathability. Inside, the removable OrthoLite footbed sits above a cushioning PU midsole. A treaded Vibram rubber outsole makes contact with the ground. The boot contains non-textile parts of animal origin.

Try both boots with the walking socks you intend to wear. Check that your heels feel secure and that your toes have enough space, including when walking downhill. Adjust the laces for support without uncomfortable pressure. The right size and an individual fit matter more than a general promise of comfort.

After use, remove loose dirt, loosen the laces and take out the footbeds to air them. Allow the boots to dry completely before storage. Follow the manufacturer's care instructions when cleaning or treating the leather and membrane.
