McKinley Magma IV Mid AQX Women's anthracite

The McKINLEY Magma IV Mid AQX for women in Anthracite is a mid-cut walking boot for day hikes and trekking. Dark grey and black are complemented by turquoise details. A padded collar and conventional lacing let you adjust the fit with the walking socks you plan to use.

The upper combines 60% leather, 30% polyurethane and 10% polyamide. A breathable AQUAMAX membrane complements the construction for changeable weather. A removable OrthoLite footbed and cushioning PU midsole are also included. Underneath, a treaded Vibram rubber outsole contacts the trail. The model contains non-textile parts of animal origin.

During fitting, check both feet and take time to walk a few steps, including a gentle downhill movement. Your toes should not hit the front, while your heels need secure support. Adjust the laces across the foot and shaft without overtightening them. Comfort over longer distances depends substantially on the right size and your individual foot shape.

After a walk, remove dirt and take out the footbeds to air them. Allow the boots to dry completely before storage. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and caring for the leather and membrane.
