Description
The Stöckli Salomon MC12 in Black Matt Shine is an alpine binding from the sport-oriented MC line. Its slim toe-piece design is intended to combine guidance with versatile handling. Manufacturer reference 156167958 identifies the MC12 model. Stöckli lists an adjustment range of 4–12 for this binding in its catalogue.
The binding requires a compatible ski and plate arrangement. Stöckli describes the MC12 in combination with the MC Fullflex D20 plate; this does not establish universal compatibility with other skis or mounting plates. Before purchasing, have the existing plate, brake width and actual boot sole checked together. A GripWalk label alone does not replace a complete assessment of the equipment combination.
Have a qualified ski workshop mount and adjust the binding. The appropriate release setting depends on the skier's details and boot sole length, among other factors, and should not be chosen by guesswork. A functional test forms part of the completed setup. Keep boot soles and the binding interface free from snow and dirt, and inspect the equipment regularly for visible damage. A change of boots requires a fresh professional adjustment check. Let the binding dry after skiing and follow the manufacturer's storage guidance.
