Size help

Find my boot size

Measure both feet and use the manufacturer chart for this model. Length, width and volume all affect the fit.

A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.

Check when trying on

  • Try both boots with the socks you will wear when skiing.
  • Check heel hold and pressure points in your skiing stance. Pain or numbness is not a suitable fit.
  • For a difficult fit, a personal fitting and boot fitting service can help.

Measure both feet

Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. Measure each foot separately.
  1. Place paper against a wall and stand on it with one heel touching the wall.
  2. Put weight on the foot, bend your knee slightly and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in millimetres.
  3. Repeat for the other foot. Note both lengths and, if needed, the width at the widest part of each forefoot.

Three different measurements

Foot length · mm
The measured distance from your heel to your longest toe. Your two feet may have different lengths.
Mondopoint · MP
A sizing system based on foot length, usually shown in centimetres for ski boots. Use the chart for the exact model.
External sole length · mm
The outside length of the shell used for binding adjustment. Read it from the boot. It is neither foot length nor Mondopoint size.

Description

The Tecnica Zero G Tour in Dark Avio is a four-buckle touring boot with a flex rating of 110. It suits ski tourers looking for cuff mobility on the ascent and a firmly secured boot for the descent. The quoted 99 mm last is the model's reference width; trying the boot on with your touring socks remains the best way to assess its fit.

This version uses a PU shell with Quick Instep and a PP cuff. Its Double Blocking Mechanism switches between walking and downhill modes. Tecnica specifies 65 degrees of cuff movement in walk mode. A Vibram sole and low-tech inserts provide the touring interface, while four buckles let you adjust retention across the foot and cuff separately.

Choose your Mondopoint size using foot length, then check heel hold, toe room and pressure points. Have a specialist check and adjust your exact boot and touring-binding combination. Before descending, fully secure the walking mechanism and buckles. After a tour, remove snow and dirt from the sole and inserts. Take damp liners out to dry and keep both shell and lining away from direct heat.
