Nordica Speedmachine J 2 - black/anthracite/red 2025/26

The Nordica Speedmachine J 2 in Black/Anthracite/Red is an alpine ski boot for children learning and developing their technique on the piste. Manufacturer reference 05086200/7T1 identifies the version with two aluminium buckles and a Comfort Fit liner. Its junior fit and neutral stance are designed around younger skiers.

The Weight Adjuster allows the flex behaviour to be matched to the child's needs. Nordica lists a flex rating of 45 for this model. Easy Entry Soft Flap construction makes getting into the boot easier, while the two buckles close it around the foot and lower leg. The soft liner provides a comfortable interior for first turns and longer days on skis.

Sizes are given in Mondopoint. Have both feet measured and check the fit with ski socks instead of buying excessive growing room. The heel and lower leg should be supported without painful pressure points. This model has an alpine 5355 sole. Have a specialist check the actual boot-binding combination and adjustment, particularly when using children's bindings.

After skiing, remove snow and moisture and allow the opened boots to dry at room temperature. Avoid direct heat from radiators. Regularly inspect the buckles, soles and liners for wear and trapped debris. Before the season and after a change of boot size, have the binding adjusted and checked again for the child and the boots being used.
