DYNAFIT Ridge Pro Boot Black Ski Touring Boot Men

The men's Dynafit Ridge Pro in Black Out/Gold combines uphill mobility with a supportive downhill position. It is aimed at ski tourers choosing a light boot for extended climbs who also consider descending performance. Select the size using actual foot length and shape, with the touring socks you plan to wear. Technical model specifications alone cannot establish individual fit.

The Floating Tongue construction lets the tongue move horizontally while walking. The cuff provides a 70-degree range of movement. Hoji Lock switches the boot between walking and downhill modes. Dynafit specifies flex 120 and a last width of 101 millimetres. Shell and cuff use Grilamid loaded with carbon fibres, while the spoiler is Grilamid. Master Step inserts provide the connection to suitable pin bindings, and the walking sole is Vibram.

Have a specialist check and adjust the exact combination of boots and bindings before use. Before stepping in, inspect inserts and soles for snow, ice or damage. Practise switching modes in a controlled setting and make sure the closure is properly locked before descending. After a tour, allow moisture to escape from the boot. Dry the components at a moderate temperature in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and avoid strong direct heat. Regular checks of the closure and walking mechanism should be part of preparing your equipment for the next outing.
