Description
The SCARPA F1 in Anthracite and Ottanio is a ski-touring boot aimed at ascent-focused touring. The version offered here belongs to reference 12173-M/0938. Its construction combines an adjustable forefoot closure with a separately secured cuff. Selectable shop sizes range from 25.5 to 31 Mondopoint, including the intermediate half sizes offered.
The BOA system adjusts the fit over the foot. A lever closure and hook-and-loop strap complement cuff adjustment. The ski/walk mechanism allows switching between climbing and descending. A heat-mouldable liner supports individual fitting, which should be carried out by qualified staff. F1 construction is intended for suitable touring bindings. The model name alone does not establish compatibility with an arbitrary alpine or touring binding.
Have both boots fitted while wearing your intended ski socks and check heel hold, toe room and instep pressure. Practise switching between walking and skiing before setting off. Boots, bindings and any crampons must be checked as a specific combination for suitability and function. Remove snow and ice from contact areas before stepping in. Open the boots to dry after use and regularly inspect soles, closures and the mechanism for damage or substantial wear.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
