Salomon EscapeX Sport Prolink

The Salomon EscapeX Sport Prolink is a cross-country ski boot for classic touring. It combines a touring fit with Thinsulate insulation and a protective lace cover. This black, white and blue version is intended for winter outings on the tracks when straightforward adjustment and warmth are priorities.

Quicklace helps you tighten the lacing evenly around the foot. A cover with a waterproof zipper shields the laced area from snow. The Prolink Touring sole provides the boot-to-binding connection and is intended for compatible classic Prolink, NNN and Turnamic bindings. NIS and IFP refer to ski-mounted binding plates, so the plate name alone does not confirm that a boot will fit the binding installed on it.

Try the boots with your cross-country socks and assess heel retention as well as toe movement. Tighten them securely without creating excessive pressure. Before ordering, check the actual binding model, particularly when replacing boots from another sole system. Clear snow and ice from both sole and binding before stepping in. After skiing, open the boots and dry them gently at room temperature. Keep the zipper and lace guides free of dirt so that adjustment remains easy on the next outing.
