The Alien 5.0 race boot is the absolute gold standard for skimo racing in the highest performance classes in all conditions. Its full carbon construction is weight-reduced to the maximum and optimised for perfect power transmission. An integrated gaiter prevents snow from getting into the boot during the descent phases. A UFO 4.0 sole with the Vibram Top85 compound provides perfect grip on the carrying sections in cold conditions. The Boa® Fit System, which can be adjusted continuously to your foot, also ensures hold in the boot. Maximum comfort is guaranteed by a thermoformable liner. This way you can give it everything without getting blisters straight away.
To get the most out of your ski boots, we recommend having the liners thermoformed by a dealer from the SCARPA network.

ALIEN 4 GAITER

The gaiter is woven from nylon and spandex fibres and offers greater elasticity for an easy fit. The rear part of the shell also has a specially developed gaiter that prevents snow from getting in downhill or on the ascent.

The reduced shell design guarantees maximum comfort when skiing, thanks to the closure system that causes no pressure points. Ergonomic design adapts to the natural shape of the leg.

 

SOLE

The new U.F.O. LB sole, exclusive to SCARPA, was developed in accordance with the international standards of the ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation). Thanks to the innovative VIBRAM® Litebase and Traction Lug technologies, it offers minimal weight with maximum grip and stability on any surface.

ACCELERATOR SKI/WALK

 

SPEED LOCK SYSTEM LITE

Lacing system consisting of the "A-Light" lever and a durable, lightweight Dyneema® cord, two tabs and two metal hooks. Thanks to the Speed Lock Lite system, the cuff can be opened and closed with just one hand movement. The closure plate on the shell, which connects the lever to the shell, prevents snow and ice from building up.

Carbon Fiber

Thanks to its exceptional combination of lightness and strength, carbon fibre has established itself as the preferred material in the construction of race ski touring boots. It is a composite material made of carbon fibres, usually embedded in a resin matrix that provides shaping, maintains the structure and gives the finished product high stability. In addition to its low density and high strength, carbon fibre offers good thermal stability, acceptable fire resistance, resistance to chemical influences and temperature fluctuations, and good insulating properties, ideal for use in extreme conditions.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg.
