The Fischer RC4 Z17 Freeflex ST Brake 85 is a race ski binding for experienced skiers using suitable alpine ski boots. Model T00425 uses the Freeflex Pro construction and has an 85 mm ski brake. Fischer specifies ISO 5355 A boot soles and a release setting up to 17 for this version. Its black and yellow design reflects its intended use on piste and for race training. Selection and use

Have a specialist check the ski, boot sole and brake width before fitting. Mounting, adjustment and release settings must suit your personal details. Do not choose a release setting from the scale alone. Have the fit checked again after changing boots, and arrange regular binding inspections as specified by the manufacturer.

Care and inspection

Carefully remove snow and ice before stepping in. Dry the binding after skiing and inspect the brake and visible components for damage. Do not modify the mechanism yourself. Follow the maintenance instructions and arrange a professional check after a heavy impact or unusual operation before skiing again.
