Selun A230G

The Selun A230G is made of high-strength aluminium. The alloy, originally developed for aircraft construction, withstands extreme cold and bending loads. The sophisticated design, which aims to reduce weight while improving stability and performance, results in the lightest pin binding with adjustable Z-values for frontal and torsion release. The large spacing of the mounting screws ensures optimal power transmission to wide skis. The stable lightweight construction offers maximum performance for a wide range of users. Through extensive laboratory tests and countless field trials, the Selun A230G has developed into a first-class product that will give its user many years of enjoyment.

Contraction spring in the binding front

The heart of the binding front is the groundbreaking new development that makes the decisive difference: the contraction spring between the toggle levers acts as both spring element and pivot joint. The simplicity of this design convinces by reducing the number of components and saves weight like no other.

Four-level climbing aid

The Selun A230G offers four options for different terrain gradients.

Level 1 directly on the stopper step plate, which sits very low and close to the ski and therefore allows a very long stride on flat terrain.

Level 3 offers pivot points for steep sections.

Level 2 is the universal climbing aid used by experienced ski tourers on steep and flat terrain. The moderate height allows a relatively long stride and still provides support on steeper terrain.

Level 4 includes pivot points for very steep sections.

Stopper step plate with power transmission

The cams on the step plates transmit forces as directly as possible from the sole of the ski boot to the ski, greatly increasing skiing performance.

Stopper with optimal parking position

In the parking position, the stopper is drawn together high above the ski so that movement when walking and skiing downhill is not hindered by protruding edges.

Z-value adjustment for torsion release

The Z-value is easy to adjust and visualise.

Z-value adjustment for release in a frontal fall

The locking mechanism in the heel binding, which convinces by its simplicity, allows a compact and very lightweight construction.

Placing the spring at the centre of the pivot point is a groundbreaking innovation.

The Z-value is easy to adjust and visualise.
