Swix TS10B Black 40g

Swix TS10B Black is a glide wax from the Top Speed range for warm conditions from 0 to +10 degrees Celsius. The pack contains 40 grams. It is intended for preparing cross-country and alpine skis and can be used as a racing wax on its own or as a base for further suitable products.

Swix makes this Black version harder than the regular TS10. The formulation is aimed at improved durability and reduced dirt absorption. Its black solid-lubricant additive is particularly intended for dirty snow. The manufacturer describes use on artificial snow as well as transformed old natural snow. Swix recommends a waxing-iron setting of 165 degrees Celsius.

Select the wax according to the actual snow and temperature conditions. Start with a clean, dry base and suitable tools. Follow the instructions for application, cooling, scraping and brushing. Move the iron steadily and avoid overheating one part of the ski base. Work in a well-ventilated area and observe the guidance supplied with both wax and tools. Close the pack after use and store it clean, dry and away from unnecessary heat. Assess the result under the relevant conditions before your next training session or race.
