Swix T77 Waxing Iron

SWIX T77 Waxing Iron is intended for hot-wax preparation of alpine skis, cross-country skis and snowboards. The manufacturer catalogue specifies version T77220 as 220 V and 1000 W. Its broad metal plate measures 100 × 160 mm and supports even distribution of suitable hot waxes.

Version and handling

The iron has an ergonomic body and manual temperature adjustment. The plate's angled shape on one side helps maintain an even movement over the base. Select the setting according to the wax instructions and glide-surface requirements. The 1000 W power rating is not a temperature specification.

Before connecting the iron, check the electrical information on its rating plate and use it according to its operating instructions. A stable ski fixture and suitable workplace help with controlled movement.

Hot wax and store

Clean and dry the base before treatment. Distribute the wax and keep the iron moving during application. Avoid leaving it on one spot. Follow the wax guidance for subsequent cooling, scraping and brushing.

Place the hot iron only on a suitable surface. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning and storage. Keep the plate clean as directed and inspect the cable and device before the next use.
