Swix T196B Brush rect., combi cork/nylon

The Swix T196B is a compact rectangular combination brush with two different working faces. One side uses natural cork and the other short, fine nylon bristles. It is intended for preparing suitable rub-on waxes, bringing corking and subsequent brushing together in one small body. The two faces are easy to distinguish and can be selected for the relevant stage of preparation.

Selection and use

Choose the preparation sequence according to the wax instructions. Use the cork and nylon face for their intended stages and on the appropriate part of the base. Keep grip zones and climbing skins separate from glide-wax preparation. If fluorine-free preparation is required, consider previous residue on the tools as well. The brush itself does not establish approval for a particular wax or for competition use.

Care and inspection

Remove loose wax residue and store the brush clean and dry. Avoid damaging the cork with sharp objects or permanently deforming the bristles. Before each use, check both working faces for dirt and embedded particles that could affect the base.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
