Swix T191B Brush rectangular,fine steel

The Swix T191B is a rectangular hand brush with ultra-fine steel bristles for ski and snowboard base preparation. Its manufacturer reference is T0191B. With a bristle diameter of 0.06 mm, it reaches fine areas of the base structure and helps remove wax residue from that structure.

Swix often recommends it as the second brush after scraping and the first brushing stage. The manufacturer suggests four to five strokes as a guide. On finely ground skis prepared for cold conditions, it complements an earlier pass with a coarser steel brush. Subsequent preparation steps depend on the wax being used and its instructions.

The brush can also be used with Swix glide wax cleaner for deeper base cleaning. Swix recommends keeping a dedicated brush exclusively for this purpose. Keep that brush separate from the one used on freshly waxed bases to avoid carrying residue between preparation stages.

Brush in the direction of travel, from tip to tail, with the ski or snowboard securely supported. Adjust pressure and the sequence of work to the relevant preparation instructions. Remove accumulated residue from the brush regularly and store it clean and dry so its fine bristles are ready for the next session.
