Toko T18 Digital Racing Iron

The Toko T18 Digital Racing Iron is a waxing iron for maintaining ski and snowboard bases. This version has manufacturer reference 5547191 and is the EU model with 850 W power. It is particularly suited to temperature-sensitive specialist and racing waxes, where the ironing temperature specified by the wax manufacturer needs careful attention.

A 15 mm thick base plate stores heat while a microprocessor regulates and monitors the temperature. The adjustment range is 90 to 180 °C. A digital display makes the setting easy to read. Always select a temperature appropriate to the wax you are using and follow its application instructions.

The rear part of the heating plate is angled, while the front section is flat. This helps spread wax over the base. Move the iron evenly along the running surface and keep it moving. If it does not glide easily, Toko’s application guide calls for additional wax; avoid leaving the iron in one place.

Work on a stable surface and follow the supplied operating instructions. After use, unplug the iron and let it cool completely on a heat-resistant support before putting it away. Clean and store the appliance according to the manufacturer’s instructions. A protective iron cover is included.
