Holmenkol Base Brush Steel MicroFinish

The HOLMENKOL Base Brush Steel Micro Finish is an ultra-fine steel hand brush for the final exposure of a ski-base structure. It is used to remove fine wax residues from the structure of a prepared ski or snowboard base. The rectangular brush block can be guided by hand at a service bench. Model 24503 complements an appropriate preparation process for alpine and Nordic skis.

Selection and use

Follow the current HOLMENKOL instructions and the wax system in use to determine the preparation sequence. Secure the ski on a suitable service bench. Guide the brush in the specified running direction and work in a controlled manner. Match the tool and method to the base; a ski-service specialist can help with an unfamiliar preparation.

Care and inspection

Remove loosened wax after use and keep the bristles clean. Avoid contamination from other materials or unsuitable cleaning agents. Store the brush dry and protect its fine bristles from bending. Inspect its condition regularly before using it on a freshly prepared base.
