Holmenkol Repair Strips Black

Holmenkol Repair-Strips black are black repair candles for small repairs to ski bases. They let you apply repair material directly to minor damaged areas. Holmenkol lists the product for Alpine and Nordic base repair and specifies conventional ski bases as its intended use. The retail pack contains five black Repair-Strips.

Application

Light the candle and drip the repair material onto the area being treated, then scrape away the excess material. Follow the packaging instructions for preparation, application and finishing. The product is intended for local repairs to small areas of base damage. Plan subsequent ski care and preparation as separate steps after the repair.

Storage and inspection

Keep unused candles in their packaging and maintain a clear working area during application. Inspect the damaged area before beginning. For deep damage or damage to an edge, first have the required repair assessed before treating the area.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
