Mammut- Nirvana 28- Functional Freeride Backpack

The Mammut Nirvana 28 is a winter sports backpack for freeriding and lift-assisted ski touring. Its 28-litre capacity accommodates equipment for a day in the mountains. A wide-opening zip around the back panel gives access to the main compartment without having to unpack everything from the top.

A dedicated front compartment separates avalanche equipment from the rest of your load. Skis can be carried diagonally or in an A-frame arrangement. There are also snowboard attachments and holders for an ice tool and walking poles. An integrated helmet carrier is useful on sections where the helmet is not being worn. Secure externally carried equipment carefully so that it cannot shift.

The pack is hydration-system compatible and has a separate sleeve for the Mammut Back Protector, which is sold separately. An SOS label provides emergency information. These features do not replace avalanche equipment, training or route planning; select your load for the terrain and conditions.

Mammut specifies 90% polyamide and 10% polyester for the main and base fabrics, with recycled fibres in the main material. Listed weight is 1,070 g and dimensions are 50 × 30 × 19 cm. Available colours here are Black and Marsh/Black. Check the loaded fit before setting off and let the pack dry open after wet outings.
