Swix I62C Base Cleaner Aerosol 150 ml

SWIX I62C Base Cleaner Aerosol is a cleaning product for ski preparation. This version contains 150 ml and is supplied as an aerosol spray. The spray is intended for cleaning ski bases and removing wax and klister residue. A clean surface provides the basis for subsequent care and waxing steps.

Treat the appropriate area

Choose the cleaner for the wax being removed and the intended surface. Kick zones, glide surfaces and integrated climbing skins have different purposes and care requirements. Use only an expressly suitable treatment on skin fabric.

Clean and finish

Spray onto the intended ski-base area as directed. Remove as much old wax or klister as practical with a suitable scraper and wipe away loosened residue. Remove loosened residue with a suitable clean cloth such as Fiberlene. Use a fresh section when required to avoid spreading old residue back over the surface. Allow the treated area to dry completely as directed before applying new wax.

Keep the working area and tools clean. A brush or cloth used for dirty residue should not automatically be reused for final finishing. Work in an appropriate, well-ventilated space and observe all label instructions. Close the container after use and store it according to the manufacturer's guidance. Inspect the base again before the next preparation step, checking that loosened residue has been removed and the intended area is ready for treatment.
