Swix HS8 Liquid Red -4°C/+4°C 125ml

Swix HS8 Liquid Red is a liquid glide wax for training and racing at temperatures from −4°C to +4°C. This 125 ml version, identified by manufacturer reference HS08L-125, is intended for skiers preparing their glide surfaces for changing conditions around freezing. It can be used on its own or as a base beneath other racing waxes.

Its range includes older snow below freezing as well as freshly falling snow in above-freezing temperatures. This makes HS8L an option for commonly encountered transitional conditions. Select your wax according to the actual temperature and snow at your destination. The red identification helps distinguish this version within your waxing equipment.

For application to glide zones, Swix describes spraying on the liquid, working it into the base with a felt cork and allowing 15 minutes to dry. Follow the instructions on your container and the guidance for your skis and intended waxing system. On skin skis, the glide zones are in front of and behind the skin; use dedicated products for skin maintenance.

Danger: this aerosol is extremely flammable, and the pressurised container can burst when heated. Vapours may cause drowsiness or dizziness, and release into the environment can harm aquatic life over time. Keep away from children, ignition sources, heat and sunlight. Do not smoke or store above 50°C. Do not pierce or burn the container. Follow all label instructions for safety and disposal.
