Swix HS5 Turquoise -10°C/-18°C 180g

The 5 series is the hardest wax in the HS line and is a good choice due to its great durability and dry-friction properties in cold conditions. It's a great choice for both alpine terrain and cross-country skiing. Although it is a wax for cold conditions, it is easier to apply than many competitors in this category due to its melting point without compromising the great gliding properties. For fresh, old, or artificial snow.

Description
The 5 series is the hardest wax in the HS line and is a good choice due to its great durability and dry-friction properties in cold conditions.
It's a great choice for both alpine terrain and cross-country skiing.
Although it is a wax for cold conditions, it is easier to apply than many competitors in this category due to its melting point without compromising the great gliding properties.
For fresh, old, or artificial snow.
The iron speed when waxing should be about 8-10 seconds on a skating ski.
The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability.
Strip off after about one minute.
It is important to have a good iron to achieve efficient wax melting.
HS5 can be used as a race wax alone or as a base for top coats.

Shipping & advice

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Details in our shipping policy.

Payment & financing

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Klarna and Shop Pay. With Shop Pay you can pay for your purchase in interest-free instalments.

Warranty & returns

Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange. Details in our return policy.
