Holmenkol Combi Edger

The HOLMENKOL Combi Edger is a compact tool for working on both the side edge and base-side edge of skis or snowboards. These two working modes make it a versatile addition to a personal servicing kit. The side-edge angle adjusts from 89° to 85°, while the base-side setting ranges from 0.5° to 1.0°. The manufacturer includes a suitable 80 mm file with version 24489.

Selection and use

Establish the existing and desired edge angles first. The side edge and base-side edge are different working surfaces and should not be confused. Secure the ski or board, check the file mounting and guide the tool evenly. Remove material gradually and inspect the result between passes. If you do not know the existing preparation, have a ski service establish the starting condition before changing it.

Care and inspection

Remove filings and sharpening residue after each use. Keep the contact surface and file clean and store the device dry. Check the file attachment and cutting surface before using it on another edge or repeating the preparation.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account.
