Toko Base Performance red, 120g

Toko Base Performance Red is a medium-hard hydrocarbon hot wax. The red version covers the middle snow-temperature range and suits training as well as care of regularly used bases. Its resealable 120 g pack keeps the remaining wax block neatly stored.

Temperatures and properties

• Medium-hard glide wax with a broad application range.
• Snow temperature: -4 to -12 °C.
• Air temperature: -2 to -11 °C.
• Ironing temperature: 140 °C.
• Contents: 120 g.

For regular hot-wax care

Select the wax according to the expected snow and air temperatures. The ironing temperature helps with processing and should be considered separately. Prepare a clean, dry base and distribute the wax evenly over the gliding surfaces using a suitable waxing iron.

Keep the iron moving and allow the base to cool after waxing. Then remove excess wax with a suitable scraper and brush out the structure. On classic cross-country skis, follow the separate care requirements for the grip zone. Close the wax case after use and keep the block free of dirt. Refer to the pack instructions and your ski or snowboard manufacturer's care guidance throughout preparation.
