Toko Base Brush Oval Nylon

The TOKO Base Brush oval Nylon is an oval hand brush with nylon bristles for brushing out hot wax. TOKO describes it as an all-round brush for all types of hot wax and also lists ironed-in JetStream as an application. It forms part of ski and snowboard base preparation after the relevant waxing stage.

Use it at the appropriate stage

TOKO's brush overview lists Oval Nylon for brushing out hot waxes, liquids and powders. Match the brush to the product used and follow its instructions. After hot waxing, first scrape away excess wax as directed by the manufacturer. Then work on the base with the brush specified for that preparation stage.

Keep the base and brush clean

Secure the ski or board before base preparation and inspect the brush for adhering residue. Keep your workspace clean so that removed particles are not transferred back onto the prepared running surface. Inspect the result after brushing and follow the wax instructions for any further steps. Store the brush with its bristle surface protected and avoid contamination from other tools.
