Rex 115 Blue is a solid grip wax for classic cross-country skiing. It is intended for temperatures from −2°C to −8°C and is used as a versatile grip wax in cold conditions. The container holds 45 g. Its blue identification helps you distinguish it within the Rex wax range, while the number 115 identifies this particular product.

Adjust grip and glide through layer thickness

Apply the wax to the grip zone of a suitable classic waxable ski. It supports the kick while the remaining areas of the base provide glide. According to Rex, the balance between grip and glide can be influenced by the thickness of the wax layer. Colder weather calls for a thinner layer. Work gradually and test the result over a short distance before starting your full outing.

Match the wax to your skis

The exact grip zone depends on the ski and how its flex is matched to your weight. Follow the ski manufacturer's guidance for preparation as well as the wax instructions. Skis with skins or other specialised grip systems require their own care methods. Close the container after use to keep the wax surface clean and ready for your next preparation session.
