Description

The Shimano CS-HG50-10 is a 10-speed HG cassette for compatible bicycle drivetrains. This version has an 11–36-tooth range. Its coordinated tooth profiles and shifting ramps support controlled gear changes. It uses steel sprockets and a steel spider. The range combines small sprockets for faster riding with a larger sprocket for lower gearing.

Version and details

  • 10 sprockets, 11–36-tooth range.
  • Tooth sequence: 11–13–15–17–19–21–24–28–32–36.
  • HG splined freehub interface.
  • For suitable HG-X ten-speed chains.
  • Manufacturer reference: I-CSHG5010136S.

Selection and installation

Before buying, compare the speed count, freehub interface and maximum sprocket size permitted by your derailleur. Total capacity and the front chainring combination must also be suitable. The stated range identifies this particular item rather than a choice of cassette sizes. If changing the gearing, recheck chain length and derailleur adjustment. Use the correct tools for the cassette and lockring according to Shimano’s instructions.

Care and checks

Regularly remove dirt between the sprockets with a suitable brush and mild cleaner. When replacing the cassette, check chain wear too, because parts with substantially different wear can skip under load. After installation, check that everything is secure and test every gear. Follow the current instructions for tightening, cleaning and maintenance.

Shipping & advice

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Details in our shipping policy.

Payment & financing

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Klarna and Shop Pay. With Shop Pay you can pay for your purchase in interest-free instalments.

Warranty & returns

Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange. Details in our return policy.
